KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Carroll College Freshman Kicker, Spencer Berger, has been named Week 3 Special Teams Player of the Week.

Players of the week are evaluated on their performance during the week prior to the announcement. Each player is selected from a pool of conference and independent institutions award winners.

Berger went 3-for-3 in field goal attempts and was a perfect 2-for-2 on extra points in a 25-23 win over Eastern Oregon, including a 33-yard field goal to win the game. Berger's three field goals were the first of his collegiate career.
