WHITEFISH, Mont. – Commissioner Kent Paulson announced the 2021-22 Frontier Conference All-Conference Men's Basketball team, as well as individual award winners, all-defensive team, and Champions of Character after balloting by the league's coaches.

Carroll Men's Basketball was well represented following a year where they went 13-2 in conference play to win a share of the regular season Frontier crown. Kurt Paulson was selected as the Coach of the Year and Jovan Sljivancanin was voted as Player of the Year.

In addition, Shamrock Campbell and Jovan Sljivancanin were named first team all-conference, Campbell and Jonny Hillman were selected to the all-defensive team, and Jaedon Lieberg was Carroll's Champion of Character.

Kurt Paulson stitched together arguably his finest coaching performance this season in his fourth year at the helm of his alma mater. Helping lead the Saints into the national tournament with a record of 28-4, Paulson also became the fastest coach in program history to reach 100 wins.

Jovan Sljivancanin, a senior forward out of Belgrade, Serbia, continued an illustrious career, serving as a walking double-double in his senior campaign. Sljivancanin averaged 19.5 points and 10.9 rebounds per game, while leading the team with 101 assists and 40 steals. Jovan put on a show at gyms all around the conference on a nightly basis, filling the stat sheet and creating unforgettable highlight plays.

Shamrock Campbell, a senior from Spokane, Wash., was the Saints' heartbeat at the point guard position. Campbell averaged 14.2 points per game while shooting 49.4 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from three. Campbell also finished with 74 assists to just 27 turnovers. He was nails as always on the defensive end on the court, landing himself on the all-defensive team.

Jonny Hillman was relentless on defense this season for the Saints, serving as a true stopper and one of the league's most feared defenders. Hillman finished with 34 steals (second on the team) and 16 blocks (tied for most on the team), but what he provided for the team went further than what appears on the stat sheet. He was a true tone-setter and would be out-hustled by no one.

Jaedon Lieberg was tabbed as Carroll's Champion of Character. Lieberg served as a team captain for the second straight season and provided a strong leadership presence on and off the court.
