HELENA, Mont. – The eighth-ranked Carroll Men's Basketball team will return to the hardwood on Friday night to face MSU-Northern in a Frontier Conference semifinal matchup. Carroll, who is the top seed in the conference tournament, and Northern, who is the fourth seed in the tournament, will tip-off at 7 p.m. at the PE Center.

The Saints come into Friday night's game on a seven-game win streak that closed out their regular season. In their last game, they traveled up to Great Falls and took out the Argos by a final score of 93-56 to clinch a share of the Frontier Conference regular season crown as well as the top seed in the Frontier Conference Tournament.

Carroll finished the regular season with an overall record of 27-3 and a conference record of 13-2 as they now turn their sites to the postseason.

MSU-Northern wrapped up the regular season with an overall record of 19-12 and a conference record of 6-9, earning them a fourth-place regular season finish in the Frontier. On Tuesday night, the Lights hosted Rocky Mountain College in Havre and beat them 74-67 in the quarterfinal round.

These two teams have already seen each other three times this year. Carroll edged out Northern 73-71 back in December, then beat them two more times by double digits on January 15 and February 3.

The winner of this semifinal matchup will meet either Montana Tech or Montana Western on Monday night for the Frontier Conference Championship game. The higher seed will host.

Friday's game will be streamed online on the Fighting Saints Network, brought to you by Point S Tire and Auto Service. You can also find it on the radio in Helena on Rewind 94.9 FM or online at KCAP.com. The game will also be televised on SWX Montana.
