HELENA, Mont. - The No. 23 Carroll College Men's Basketball team will hit the Carroll PE Center hardwood again tonight, as they play their first game of the Comfort Suites Classic tonight at 7 p.m. when they host Bushnell.
Carroll (5-2) will look to get a bounce back win in front of their home crowd tonight, hosting Cascade Collegiate Conference opponent Bushnell (2-5).
Tonight's game is part of Carroll's annual Comfort Suites Classic, a round-robin style event featuring teams from around the West and giving each school an opportunity to get looks they may not normally see. The 2022 event features two Frontier schools (Carroll, MSU-Northern)Â as well as two CCC schools (Bushnell, Corban). The event will feature two games on both Friday and Saturday evening, with Carroll playing in the 7 p.m. slot each night.
FRIDAY:
MSU-Northern vs. Corban - 5 p.m.
Carroll vs. Bushnell - 7 p.m.
SATURDAY:
MSU-Northern vs. Bushnell - 5 p.m.
Carroll vs. Corban - 7 p.m.
Fighting Saints forward
Brendan Temple (Castle Rock, Colo. / SR) will look to keep his hot streak rolling tonight. The Senior was named Frontier Conference Player of the Week after posting back to back double-doubles last weekend, and a career-high 27 points in a win over Montana Western. Temple is currently leading the Frontier Conference in rebounds per game (7.9).
Carroll guard
Andrew Cook (Huntington Beach, Calif. / SO) is third in the Frontier Conference in scoring, coming into tonight averaging 15.3 points per game.
Bushnell will likely be led by Stevie Slabach, who is averaging 15.3 points per game entering tonight's contest.
The Saints and Beacons have only met on one previous occasion. Carroll picked up a hard-fought 76-71 win over Bushnell last season in Oregon.
Tonight's game will be streamed live on the
