WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced their weekly awards on Monday afternoon. Carroll's Brendan Temple was selected as the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference's Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Temple is a 6-foot-8 senior forward from Castle Rock, Colo.

No. 23 Carroll split their opening weekend of Frontier Conference play. The Fighting Saints won at home, 76-65 against Montana Western, and lost on the road to MSU-Northern 66-62.

Temple averaged 20.5 points, 12 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He was 14 of 22 from the field (63.6 percent) and 13 of 17 from the free throw line. For the weekend, he recorded back-to-back double-doubles and scored a career-high 27 points in the win over Montana Western.
