WACO, TEXAS — The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) has announced their 2022 AFCA NAIA Coaches' All-American Teams. Carroll College has two players who have been recognized on the list.

FIRST TEAM:
Garrett Kocab - Phelan, Calif. / R-SR / DT

SECOND TEAM:
Andrew Carter - Gooding, Idaho / SR / C

Kocab, garnering his first All-American nod, adds to his impressive list of accolades. He was named Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Year, as well as a First Team All-Frontier Conference performer.

This is the second consecutive year that Andrew Carter has been named an All-American, being named to the AP NAIA list in 2021, as well as being named a 2022 First Team All-Frontier Conference selection.

The AFCA has selected an All-America team since 1945 and currently selects teams in all five of its divisions. What makes these teams so special is that they are the only ones chosen exclusively by the men who know the players the best — the coaches themselves.
