WHITEFISH, Mont. — The Frontier Conference announced its weekly award winners on Monday. Carroll's Garrett Worden has been named Frontier Conference Player of the Week.

Defensive Player of the Week: Garrett Worden of Carroll College, is a 6-foot-4, 260 lbs,
redshirt sophomore defensive lineman from Laramie, Wyo.

In No. 23 Carroll College's 24-17 road win over Southern Oregon, Worden recorded five tackles (three solo, two assisted), three quarterback sacks (-18 yards) and three tackles for loss (-18 yards). He forced a fumble with under two minutes left in game. Carroll recovered and sealed the first Saints' victory in Ashland, Ore. since 2001.
