BUTTE, Mont. - The Carroll College Volleyball team will begin postseason play this afternoon when they take on Montana Western in a Frontier Conference Tournament quarterfinal match at 1 p.m. in Butte, Mont.

Carroll (14-12, 6-4) comes into the the Frontier Conference tournament on a small winning-streak, having beaten Providence and MSU-Northern last weekend in Helena to wrap up their 2022 regular season. The Saints secured the third seed in the postseason event, and will be matched up with the fifth seed Montana Western (10-16, 2-8) in the opening round of the tournament.

The Saints and Bulldogs played twice during the regular season. Carroll won a five set thriller in their home opener back in September, and also earned a 3-0 sweep over the Bulldogs in Dillon last month.

Carroll holds a 20-game win streak over Montana Western dating back to 2014, and will look to continue the trend this afternoon.

The Frontier Conference Tournament is a single-elimination event, with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NAIA National Volleyball Tournament.

The winner of this afternoon's match will play the No. 2 seed Rocky Mountain College tonight at 7 p.m. in Butte. The winner of that semifinal match will play for the Frontier Conference championship tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Today's matches will be streamed live HERE, and live stats for the match with the Bulldogs can be viewed HERE.
