WHITEFISH, Mont.  — The Frontier Conference announced the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Football Players of the Week on Monday afternoon. Wide Receiver Chris Akulschin (Gig Harbor, Wash. / R-FR) was named Offensive Player of the Week.

Offensive Player of the Week: Chris Akulschin, of Carroll College, is a 6-foot-2, 200 lbs, redshirt freshman wide receiver from Gig Harbor, Wash.
In No. 25 Carroll's 37-3 home win over Eastern Oregon, Akulschin caught nine passes for 158 yards and three touchdowns, with a long of 50 yards. He also rushed for 24 yards on one carry. 

Akulschin joins teammates Tucker Jones, Zach Spiroff and Spencer Berger as 2022 Frontier Conference Player of the Week honorees on the season.
