WHITEFISH, Mont. - The Frontier Conference announced the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Volleyball Players of the Week on Monday afternoon. Carroll College's Julia Carr has been named as the defender of the week.

Defender of the Week: Julia Carr, Carroll College, is a 5-foot-7, junior defensive specialist from Portland, Ore.
Carroll dropped two matches for the week, losing 2-3 to No. 19 Montana Tech and 0-3 to Rocky Mountain College. Carr averaged seven digs a set in those two contests.

This marks the second consecutive week that Carr has earned the distinction, and the third time this season she has won the honor. In addition, Carr has once been named the NAIA National Defender of the Week.

Carr and the rest of the Saints will be back in action on Wednesday night in Great Falls for a conference match with Providence at 7 p.m.
