WHITEFISH, Mont. – The Frontier Conference announced the results of a preseason poll of Frontier Conference women's basketball coaches on Monday afternoon. Carroll College has been picked to win the 2022-2023 championship.
The Saints were a unanimous number one selection in the poll composed of Frontier Conference coaches.
Montana Western edged defending champion Rocky Mountain College by 1.5 points for second place. The University of Providence is fourth followed by Montana Tech and MSU-Northern.
One ballot gave both Montana Western and Providence a third place vote. The points for third and fourth were added together and divided by two with each school receiving half of the total.
Votes were five points for first, four points for second, three points for third, two points for fourth and one point for fifth. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
