HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll Men's Basketball team will return to their Frontier Conference schedule on Thursday night as they take on Montana Tech at the PE Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
So far this season, the Saints are off to a hot start. They are 15-1 on the year (2-0 in conference), and they are ranked second in the nation according to the latest edition of the NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Poll.
The last conference game that Carroll played in was back on December 4 when they beat Montana Western 70-60 in Dillon.
Jovan Sljivancanin scored 26 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in that game.
Sljivancanin is currently averaging a double-double as the leading scorer and rebounder for the Saints. The senior has been good for 19.3 points and 11.9 rebounds per contest.
Montana Tech is also off to a strong start this season, boasting a record of 13-4. They are 2-0 in conference games, with the wins coming against Montana Western and Rocky Mountain College back in early December.
