Carroll Volleyball returns to action at Viterbo Invitational

LA CROSSE, Wisc. – The Carroll College volleyball team returns to the court this weekend as they travel to La Crosse, Wisc., for the Viterbo Invitational at Viterbo University. 
 
The Saints will play four games total over the weekend, two on Friday and two on Saturday. On Friday, they play Dordt (Iowa) at 1 p.m. MST and UM-Dearborn (Mich.) at 5 p.m. MST. Saturday, they'll turn right around and take on Viterbo at 10 a.m. MST and William Penn (Iowa) at 12:30 p.m. MST.
 
Carroll enters the weekend with an overall record of 5-3 on the season. They were last in action on August 28, which was their second day of games at the College of Idaho/Eastern Oregon Fall Classic. They swept College of Idaho and The Master's to finish the weekend 2-2 and advance to 5-3 on the season.
 
Taelyr Krantz, a senior from Helena, Mont., is off to a hot start this season. Through eight games, Krantz has 86 kills and 49 blocks. Both marks are the highest on the team.
