HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll Women's Soccer team wrapped up conference play with a 1-0 loss to College of Idaho at Nelson Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The Yotes got on the board early as Madison Glascock assisted Megan Wilkinson for a goal to put them up 1-0 in the seventh minute.
At the half, college of Idaho led 1-0.
In the second half, the Saints had their chances on the attacking end but they were unable to find the back of the net to level the score.
It was a busy day in goal for both
Sydney Green of the Saints and Kylee Atkins of the Yotes. Green finished the game with four saves, while Atkins had six. Carroll had 12 shots in the game, six of which were on goal, and College of Idaho tallied 13 shots, five of which were on goal.
Wednesday's game concluded the Saints' Cascade Conference schedule, as they finish the year in fourth place in the East Division with a conference record of 3-4-1. The Saints will finish their season this weekend with two games in Billings against Northwest Nazarene on Saturday and MSU-Billings on Sunday. Both games will be at 12 p.m.
For College of Idaho, their win on Wednesday clinched first place in the East Division and an automatic bid to nationals.
