Box Score GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The Carroll Volleyball team fell to Providence on Saturday for the second time in as many days, this time in four sets.
The Saints got off to a good start in the match and defeated the Argos in the first set 25-21.
In the second set, the Argos evened the score. Providence won set two 25-22.
With the momentum back on their side, there was no looking back for the Argos. They won both the third and fourth sets by scores of 25-19 in the third and 25-21 in the fourth.
Julia Carr, a freshman from Portland, Ore., had a busy afternoon on the back line for the Saints. Carr led the team in digs with 24.
Isaura Santos, a junior from Miami, Fla., had 22 kills to lead the attack for the Argos.
The Saints will walk away from this weekend with a record of 7-5 on the season. For Providence, they are now 10-2.
Carroll will return to the court next weekend, as they will take on Montana Western at the PE Center.
