GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The Carroll Men's Soccer team tied with Providence for the second straight day on Monday afternoon, this time by a final score of 0-0.
Carroll played aggressive offensively in their second game in as many days against the Argos, totaling 20 shots and 7 shots on goal in 110 minutes of play.
Nick Lowrimore, a senior from Sandy, Utah, took six of those shots, five of which were on target.
Providence leaned on a stellar performance by their goalkeeper, Andrew Davey, to keep the Saints at bay.
Carroll's back line had a very strong outing as they limited the Argos' attack. The Argos finished the game with just six total shots, with only one of those being on goal.
All in all, neither team was able to find the net, resulting in a 0-0 tie after 110 minutes of action.
Carroll finishes their conference season with a record of 4-2-2. However, this is not the end of the road for the Saints, as they still have two games left, both against MSU Billings. The Saints will host the Yellowjackets at Nelson Stadium on April 11th, before traveling to Billings and making up their previously postponed game from the being of the year.
