CALDWELL, Idaho. -- The Saints' Softball team split their two games on Sunday against No. 17 College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon.
In the first game versus 17th ranked College of Idaho, Carroll's bats caught fire on the way to a 10-8 Carroll victory. The Saints broke a 0-0 tie in the 3rd inning, scoring five runs. In the bottom half, C of I put up a four spot to cut the deficit back to one. Carroll responded by scoring five more in the next two innings to propel them to victory.
Anna Davidson, a sophomore from Boise, Idaho, tallied two RBIs to lead the way for the Saints' offense in the first game.
In the second game, the Saints lost to Eastern Oregon for the second time in as many days. The final score was, 10-1.
Carroll Softball will be back at it on Tuesday and Wednesday in Billings, where they will play two double-headers with MSUB.
