HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll Women's Basketball team punched their ticket to the Frontier Conference Championship game with a 76-49 win over Northern on Saturday night.

Early on, the Saints held a one point lead 17-16. After that, they found their form and took off on a 19-2 run. Carroll gave themselves a 40-20 lead heading into half time after outscoring the Skylights 23-7 in the second quarter.Â

Carroll entered the half with three players in double figures.

In the second half, it was smooth sailing for the Saints. The final score was 76-49.

Danielle Wagner, a senior guard from Havre, Mont., scored a game high 20 points to help lead the Saints to victory.Â

For the Skylights, Peyton Kehr was their leading scorer. Kehr, a senior guard out of Columbia Falls, Mont., scored 16 points.

The Saints will be hosting Montana Western at the PE Center for the Frontier Conference Championship game on Monday night at 7 p.m.Â
