CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference announced its 2021 Men's Soccer all-conference teams on Wednesday evening.
The Carroll Men's Soccer team had four players recognized. Senior midfielder
Santiago Morazzani and junior forward
Rory Bloy were both named first team all-CCC. Senior midfielder
Nick Lowrimore and sophomore defender
Luke Rosenberger received honorable mention all-conference honors.
Santiago Morazzani, a senior from Buenos Aires, Argentina, picked up where he left off this season after being named the MVP of the East division in the spring. Morazzani scored six goals, assisted on another, and started in 11 games for the Saints.
Rory Bloy, a junior from Johannesburg, South Africa, absolutely lit up the stat sheet for the Saints in his third year. Bloy paced the Carroll attack with a team-high 11 goals while adding two assists.
Nick Lowrimore, a senior from Sandy, Utah, stuck around this fall for a fifth season after being granted an extra year from the covid-19 pandemic. Lowrimore made the most of his opportunity, scoring six goals and assisting on two of them.
Luke Rosenberger, a sophomore from Eau Claire, Wisc., made a seamless transition in his sophomore season moving from winger to center back. Rosenberger started in 14 games, added one assist, and contributed to three shutouts.
