HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll Volleyball team will open up their road through the Frontier Conference Tournament on Friday afternoon at 1 p.m. against Montana Western. The Saints are hosting the event at the PE Center on Friday and Saturday.
Fourth-seeded MSU-Northern will face fifth-seeded Rocky Mountain College at 11 a.m. to start things off, before the Carroll-Western game at 1 p.m.
Of the winners from the early games, the lowest-remaining seed will play Providence at 5 p.m. and the highest remaining seed will play Montana Tech at 7 p.m. The final two teams standing will face off in the Frontier Conference Tournament Championship on Saturday night at 7 p.m.
Carroll finished the regular season with a record of 12-14 and a conference record of 5-5. Western, on the other hand, went 8-14 with a conference record of 1-9.
The Saints and Bulldogs played each other twice this year. Carroll won both, sweeping the Bulldogs in Dillon and beating them in five sets later on in Helena.
