La GRANDE, Ore. – The Carroll Women's Soccer team fell to Eastern Oregon 2-0 on Friday night to a tough Eastern Oregon team.
The Mountaineers wasted no time finding the back of the net. Morgan Farrington scored off of an assist from Kana Mateaki.
Eastern had twelve first half shots, but the Saints were able to limit them to just one goal in the first 45 minutes of play.
Coming out of the gate in the second half, Eastern Oregon struck fast once more. Morgan Farrington flushed away her second goal of the match, this time being assisted by Mackinley Gregus.
2-0 would be the final score of the contest, as the Carroll offense never was able to find their rhythm. The Saints finished the game with five shots and two shots on target.
Carroll goalkeeper
