WHITEFISH, Mont. – Shamrock Campbell has been selected as the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Campbell, a senior from Spokane, Wash., thrived in the opening weekend for the Saints men's basketball team. The point guard helped lead the team to a 117-40 win over Yellowstone Christian College and a 66-64 exhibition win over Dawson Community College.
 
Against Yellowstone Christian, Campbell scored 27 points, grabbed two boards, and tallied five assists. He also added two steals on the defensive end. Also in that game, Shamrock shot 9 of 13 from the field, 5 of 9 from three and 4 of 4 at the free throw line.
 
The Saints will be back on the hardwood this coming weekend for games against SAGU American Indian College and Eastern Oregon as part of the Comfort Suites Classic at the PE Center.
