Box Score Helena, Mont. – In the opening contest of the season, the University of Providence defeated the Fighting Saints, 3-1.  After Providence took a 1-0 lead, Carroll tied the match with a 25-23 win.  The score was reversed in the third set with Providence on top 25-23, before taking the fourth set 25-14.  Taelyr Krantz (Jr, Helena, MT) and Ali Williams (Sr, Coeur d' Alene, ID) led Carroll with 10 kills.  Kylie Kackman (So, Colfax, WA) had 18 assists and Ali Williams had 10 assists.   Carroll had a team hitting percentage of .136 compared to .248 for Providence.   The Fighting Saints and Argos will play again Saturday at 1:00pm.
