Helena, Mont. – The Fighting Saints Men's Basketball team went 8 of 10 from beyond the arc and shot 65% from the field in the first half, on their way to building an 18-point lead at halftime, eventually earning a 88-70 win over the Montana Tech Orediggers. For the game, Carroll shot 15-20 from three, and shot 59% from the field. The Fighting Saints recorded 26 assists on 33 baskets. Sophomore
Dennis Flowers III led all scorers with 23 points, while also dishing out five assists. Also in double figures were
Jovan Sljivancanin with 21 points, and Sophomores
Ifeanyi Okeke had 11 points and
Brendan Temple with 10 points. Junior
Shamrock Campbell had nine assists. Carroll moves to 5-4 in the Frontier Conference and 8-5 overall. Montana Tech and Carroll play again on Sunday, with tip-off at approximately 4:15pm.
