HELENA, Mont. -- It's on to the championship for the Carroll College Fighting Saints men's
basketball team.
The Saints (24-8) will face the Lewis-Clark State College Warriors (28-3) on Monday in Lewiston, Idaho, in a rematch of last year's Frontier Conference Tournament Championship.
Carroll owns the regular season advantage over the Warriors, including the most recent win down in Lewiston, Idaho, in which Carroll won 68-57.
LCSC has otherwise been a juggernaut this season, losing only three times, two of those coming by the hands of the Saints.
The No. 2-seeded Saints vanquished Rocky Mountain College 89-73 in the quarterfinals and then took down Providence in the semifinals, 69-65.
The No. 1-seeded Warriors played a tight contest with Montana State-Northern in the semifinals, defeating the Lights 73-68.
The Saints are led in scoring by
Dane Warp's 18.6 and Jovan Slivancanin's 17.4 points per game.
Lewis-Clark State features three players who all average about 13 points per game: Trystan Bradley, Damek Mitchell and Travis Yenor.
The game is set to tip off at 8 p.m.
