HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College Fighting Saints softball team fell twice to Oregon Tech on Saturday at Centennial Park. 

OIT (12-9, 5-4 Cascade Collegiate Conference) took the series 4-0. 

Game 3

The Saints (8-11, 3-6) rallied twice to tie the game and then took a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the fourth, but a four-run fifth inning pushed the Owls ahead and they didn't look back as they took Game Three 11-6.

The Owls outhit the Saints 16-5, as the Saints scattered those hits among five batters. 

OIT used five home runs in the game to pad its lead. 

The Saints left five runners on base. 

Game 4

The Owls built a lead in the first inning and then held the Saints off before ending the game in six innings, 12-4. 

OIT hit four homers to push past the Saints. 

Courtney Schroeder's three-run homer in the bottom of the second kept the Saints close, but Carroll stranded six runners on base and couldn't stop the Owls' hitters.

The Saints hit the road next week to take on Northwest in Kirkland, Washington.
