The Fighting Saints men's basketball team surely feels the same way after mounting an impressive second half comeback against Montana Tech, only to see a few empty possessions doom them during a 58-55 loss to Montana Tech on Thursdays in Butte.
The Saints (3-3, 0-2 Frontier Conference) went on a 17-6 run over the game's final nine minutes to knot the game up at 55 with a little more than a minute to go.

The Saints trailed the majority of the game, as the Orediggers (3-2, 2-0) led 33-25 at halftime and mostly kept the Saints at an arm's length in the second half. The Saints finally found their rhythm with 10 minutes to go, but couldn't finish off their great rally.

Ifeanyi Okeke each had 10 points to lead the Saints. Sljivancanin and Okeke finished with double-doubles with10 rebounds each

The Saints will look for their first conference win of the season against Montana State-Northern on Monday as they travel to Havre to face Montana State-Northern.
