No. 9 Carroll MBB tops RMC

HELENA, Mont. -- There would be no triple-overtime thriller this time.

The No. 9-ranked Carroll College Fighting Saints handled Rocky Mountain College 76-61 on Wednesday in the Fortin Center in Billings, Montana.

The Saints had five players reach double figures, led by Jovan Sljivancanin's 23-point, 10-rebound performance. Joining him were Dane Warp and Shamrock Campbell, who each added 15 points, while Jonny Hillman shot a perfect 4-for-4 from the field for 11 more and Ifeanyi Okeke added 10 more points along with 11 rebounds.

After grabbing a lead a few minutes in, the Saints (15-6, 6-3 Frontier Conference) controlled the game for the rest of the way.

Rocky (6-12, 1-8) had five players reach double figures, led by Sam Vining's 12.
