Box Score HELENA, Mont. -- The No. 2 Carroll College Fighting Saints fell on Saturday against No. 18 Lewis-Clark State 70-55 in Lewiston, Idaho.
Carroll (21-5, 10-4) had an off night from the field on Saturday, shooting 35 percent from the field and 39 percent from the three-point line. The Saints also had trouble holding onto the ball with 21 total turnovers.
Part of that can be attributed to the fourth consecutive road game and third consecutive without senior starter
Matt Wyman.
The Saints trailed 35-26 at halftime and couldn't cut the Warriors' lead below eight points.
Shamrock Campbell and
Ife Kalejaiye led the Saints with 15 points each, while
Match Burnham also reached double figures with 12.
Jovan Sljivancanin pulled down 10 rebounds for the Saints.
The Warriors (20-6, 9-5) were led by Dana Abe's 16 points.
While the Saints' depth was depleted, the Warriors used a 10-man rotation on Saturday to further test Carroll.
Carroll returns home for its next two games against Montana State-Northern and Providence.
