Box Score HELENA, Mont. -- The Fighting Saints fell to Mount Vernon Nazarene 63-51 on Saturday, Dec. 14. 

At halftime the Saints trailed 33-25. They were able to shrink the lead in the second half but weren't able to bring it within more than a couple points down the stretch. 

The intense defense of the Cougars shut down the Saints two leading scorers. Dane Warp finished with just four points and Jovan Sljivancanin finished with six.  

Saints freshman Dennis Flowers III stepped up and was Carroll's leading scorer with 17 points. Shamrock Campbell added another 13 to the box score. Ifeanyi Okeke, another freshman stepped up big pulling down seven rebounds for the Saints as well. 

Carroll struggled to stop the Cougars Jevon Knox as he had 28 points on the night going 6 of 8 from three. 

The Saints will play again on Monday against Benedictine University at 10 a.m.
