HELENA, Mont. -- Carroll College Men's Basketball heads to Chandler, Arizona, to play in the 2019 Cactus Classic.
The No. 23-ranked Fighting Saints will be starting off their Arizona road trip with a game against the Cougars of Mount Vernon Nazarene University. The game is on Saturday December 14. The Cougars have a record of 11-1 on the season. In their two most recent games they fell to No. 10 Marian University 88-85 and beat No. 8 Spring Arbor University 77-76 in overtime. The Cougars are led by junior guard Jevon Knox. Knox is averaging 20.2 ppg. The Cougars also have four other players who average 10 or more points per game.
Next in the road trip tournament will be Benedictine University. The Saints will play on the December 16 against the Eagles. Benedictine is currently 8-1 on the season. They are in the middle of a dominating seven game win streak. Eric Grygo is the Eagles leading scorer averaging 17.6 ppg.
On December 17, the Saints will finish out the road trip taking on the Firestorm of Arizona Christian. The Firestorm are 7-3 on the season. They lost two of their last three games, one of which was to Westmont, who the Saints recently played in California. The Firestorm appear to be scoring from anywhere as every player in their starting five is averaging 10 or more points per game.

Dane Warp, averaging 20.6 ppg, and
Jovan Sljivancanin, 20.1 ppg.
