HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College men's basketball suffered its first loss of the season, falling 73-64 to Hope International in Fullerton, California.
The Saints (3-1) trailed the majority of the way, though tied the game at 20 with seven minutes to go in the first half.
Hope shot 50 percent from the field for the game, while the Saints managed a 47 percent shooting clip.
Senior guard
Dane Warp led the Saints in scoring with 16 points.
Jovan Sljivancanin and
Brendan Temple also cracked double figures with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
The Royals (8-0) received 17 points from Lloyd Wright to lead the game.
The Saints face Westmont on Monday.
