HELENA, Mont. -- The Carroll College volleyball team fell 3-1 in the Frontier Conference Tournament semifinals to No. 1-seed Montana Tech on Saturday in Great Falls, Montana. 

The Saints battled back to knot the match up at 1-1 in the second set, but the Orediggers advanced to the championship after winning the third and fourth sets by scores of 25-16 and 28-26. 

The Saints were led by Taelyr Krantz (12 kills, four blocks), and Lexi Mikkelsen (10 kills). 

Ayla Carpenter, Ali Williams and Sophia Spoja each recorded two aces each. 

Ali Williams had a team-high 26 assists, while Carpenter added a team-high 26 digs. 

The Saints finish their season 16-12.
