HELENA, Mont. -- For just the second time this season, the No. 3 Carroll College Saints fell.
Carroll (14-2, 3-1 Frontier) lost to Rocky Mountain 78-66 on Thursday in Billings.Â
Three Saints reached double figures, led by
Matt Wyman, who finished with 15 points. Joining him in double figures were
Dane Warp with 14 and
Match Burnham with 15 points. Burnham also added nine rebounds.Â
Carroll fell behind 44-36 at halftime, and couldn't quite put together a strong enough run in the second half to dispel the Battlin' Bears.Â
Four Battlin' Bears hit double figures, led by Jared Samuelson's 21 points.Â
The Saints travel to Lewiston, Idaho, to face No. 10 Lewis-Clark State College on Jan. 10.Â
