HELENA, Mont. -- Carroll College is the one of the best schools for student-athletes in the NAIA, according to Next College Student Athlete, a reputable recruiting service.
Out of 140 colleges analyzed, Carroll College ranked No. 6 Â in the NCSA's Power Rankings as the most valuable for student-athletes from an academic and athletic standpoint.
For individual sports, Carroll also ranked highly. Carroll's football, men's and women's soccer programs are ranked No. 4 in the NAIA. Volleyball is ranked No. 6. Basketball, cross country, golf and track and field had not been rated at the time of this publication.Â
Carroll College's ranking is the highest of the Frontier Conference and Cascade Collegiate Conference.Â
NCSA Power Rankings have ranked colleges since 2011. The service uses in-house data, information from the U.S. News & World Report Best College rankings and graduation rates from the the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System to determine the most valuable colleges for student-athletes.
