HELENA, Mont. – After a 3-0 road trip to Seattle and central California, the Carroll College men's basketball team looks to continue their undefeated start to the season with two games this weekend in the inaugural Carroll Classic.
The Saints (7-0) will matchup against Salish Kootenai College Friday night and will have a rematch against Northwest University Saturday.
Carroll looks to inch closer and match their undefeated start to last year's season when they went 15-0 before a two-point loss to Lewis-Clark State.
Senior forward,
Match Burnham, will continue to be a staple in the Saints offense. In the final game of the recent road trip, the 6-foot-8 forward from Spangle, Washington, scored 21 points and added two rebounds and two steals to lead the Saints. He made 14-of-16 free throws on his way to his second Frontier Conference Player of the Week award on the season.
The Saints game will be preceded by a matchup between Montana Tech (6-2) and Northwest (7-2) on Friday at 5:30. Saturday, the Orediggers will square off against Salish Kootenai at 5:30 p.m.
Both Saints games will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. in the PE Center.
