HELENA, Mont. -- The undefeated run through the Cascade Collegiate Conference continues.
The Carroll College women's soccer team overcame a 1-0 deficit to upend Rocky Mountain College 2-1 on Friday evening in Billings.
Rocky Mountain College (4-5-2, 0-4-1) forward Mhara Smith scored almost instantly, netting a goal within 15 seconds of the opening kick.
The Saints (6-5-1, 5-0-1) needed time to recover, eventually breaking through in the 32nd minute with the equalizer by
McKenna Payne.
Carroll and Rocky went into halftime tied 1-1.

Lizzie Sheldon fired the game-winner in the 58th minute, and the Saints defense got the job done the rest of the way.

Devan Murfitt had a busy day in the goal, tallying 12 saves.
Rocky outshot Carroll 22-10, with 13-6 shots on goal.
Carroll travels to COI to face the Yotes on Sunday.
