HELENA, Mont. – Northwest Christian's Jesse Figueroa scored a lone goal in the 59ths minute to lead the Beacons to a 1-0 win over Carroll College at Nelson Stadium Saturday.

The Saints outshot Northwest Christian 15-6 and 7-2 in shots on goal, but a strong performance by NCU's goalkeeper Yayo Olvera kept the Saints scoreless in the win.

Carroll falls to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in Cascade play. NWC is now 2-4-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference.

The Saints next travel to play Eastern Oregon at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29.
