Box Score La CROSSE, Wis. – The 23 ranked Carroll College women's volleyball team fell to No. 6 Viterbo 25-14, 25-16, 25-23 Saturday afternoon at the Viterbo Preseason Tournament.
The Saints struggled hitting while the V-Hawks were efficient. Carroll tallied a hitting percentage of just .019 while Viterbo was .267.
The biggest bright spot for the Saints was
Taelyr Krantz who had five kills with no errors for a .357 attack percentage.
Rayna Pilgeram tallied 17 assists to lead the team and
Catherine Sloan notched a team-high eight digs. Carroll did tally nine team blocks to just five for the V-Hawks.
The Saints fall to 2-2 on the season with both loses coming against top-10 opponents.
Carroll returns to action Wednesday at the PE Center against Evergreen State at 5 p.m., before playing four matches in two days at the Big Sky Challenge at the Butte Civic Center.
