HELENA, Mont. – The Carroll College men's basketball team travels to Portland to face Warner Pacific Saturday at C.C. Perry Gymnasium.
Both teams enter the contest with a 2-0 record. The Saints earned wins over Yellowstone Christian and Salish Kootenai while Warner played Vancouver Island twice in two days and swept the series.
Carroll is led by
Ryan Imhoff who averaged 16.5 points in the two games to date. Six other Saints score in double figures after two games.
Xavier Cannefax leads the Knights with 25.5 points per game, and Colin Malcolm averages 20 points.
Warner Pacific finished last season with a 12-17 record and an 8-12 mark in Cascade Conference, but the Knights are just two seasons removed from an NAIA tournament appearance. Carroll defeated the Knights 99-73 last year.
