HELENA, Mont. – Carroll College volleyball puts its three-match win streak on the line Friday and Saturday with a pair of crucial home conference matches against MSU-Northern Friday and Providence Saturday.
The Saints are now 12-11 overall, and 5-3 in Frontier play with just four matches remaining on the slate, including the next three at home.
The Saints swept the Frontier Volleyball Player of the Week honors with
Rayna Pilgeram earning Setter of the Week,
Holly Morehouse Attacker of the Week and
Ayla Carpenter Defender of the Week after sweeping No. 15 Montana Tech and Lewis-Clark State.
Carroll opens the weekend with the 9-13 Skylights. MSU-Northern pushed the Saints to four sets in Havre, but the Saints earned a 3-1 win.
Cassie Krueger leads the Northern attack with 3.4 kills per set.
Saturday, the Saints host Providence. The Argos upset Carroll 3-2 in the first match due to timely points, despite the Saints outscoring UP 87-76.
The Argos are led by Sydney Andersen with 2.77 kills per set. Setter Ava Larkin paces the offense with 5.2 assists per set.
