BILLINGS, Mont. - Four Saints scored goals, including three in the second half as the Carroll College women's soccer team shutout Rocky Mountain 4-0 Sunday at Wendy's Field in Billings.
The Saints have now notched seven shutouts in eight matches, and move to 5-0-1 in conference play and 8-3-1 overall.
Cassidy Hammons scored first, giving Carroll the lead in the 14th minute with an assist from

The rest of the half looked like and even battle with Carroll and Rocky both notching three shots and three corner kicks but the second half Carroll would dominate on the scoreboard.
Makayla Welch scored in the 52nd minute, again assisted by Kueffler to put the Saints up 2-0. That score would hold until the Saints tacked on some insurance in the final few minutes.
Talya Vaira got the ball into the net in 83rd minute, assisted by
Payton Netz and Kueffler would add to her stellar game with a goal in the 86th minute, assisted by Vaira.
Goalkeeper
Jamie Carter had six saves on the game, including four in the second half to tally her Cascade-leading seventh shutout of the season.
Statistically, the match was a battle. Carroll only outshot the Bears 11-8 but the Saints were efficient scoring four times on six shots on goal.
The Saints continue Cascade play Saturday Oct. 8, at the University of Great Falls.
