GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – No. 25 Carroll College Volleyball defeated Aquinas College 3-1 but fell to No. 24 Indiana Weslyan 3-1  for the first loss in ten matches for the Saints.

The Saints lost the first set to Aquinas 29-27 before winning the last three games 25-22, 27-25 and 25-22.

The second match of the say was a hard fought battle 25-16, 26-24, 13-25, 26-24 to Indiana Wesleyan.

The match had 22 ties and 11 lead changes.

Paige Montgomery has 16 kills to lead the Saints against Indiana Weslyan and Holly Morehouse added 11. Jonni Dorr had a team-high 18 digs and 26 assists.

The Saints close out the tournament tomorrow against tournament host Davenport and St. Xavier.
