Saints Volleyball Faces UGF Thursday

HELENA, Mont. – Carroll College volleyball opens a split home and road weekend Thursday against the University of Great Falls on the Argos home floor.

The Saints look to get back on track after falling in back-to-back matches to No. 6 Rocky Mountain and Montana Tech in Butte.

Prior to the two losses, the Saints won 12-of-13, including their first six conference matches. In the first match against UGF, the Saints won 21-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-19.

"We really need to focus on playing our game," head coach Moe Boyle said. "When we are playing our best, with confidence, we are extremely hard to beat. That is something we missed over the last two matches and if we want to get back on the winning track we need to get back to playing like we have been."

Carroll is in second place in the Frontier Conference at 6-2 (15-10 overall), a half match ahead of Lewis-Clark (6-3 FC, 17-10 overall) and a match and a half behind Rocky Mountain.

The Saints and Argos plat at 7 p.m. in Great Falls. The Saints return home for senior day Saturday at 5 p.m. against MSU-Northern.
