The Saints have made history once again. In the midst of a brutal stretch that had them playing in their fourth road game in the last 10 days, the first-year Carroll College men's soccer team beat Morningside 3-1 on Saturday. The Saints had beaten Sheridan Community College in a home exhibition to start the season, but this was the first regular-season win for the club, which will continue its swing with back-to-back games Sunday and Monday.
"it was a good victory, on the road," coach Doug Mello said. "We're excited. The guys are buying in. In the first two matches it kind of took us a bit to get some wind under our sails and defend as a unit. We've since worked on it a lot, and it's paid dividends."
