DENVER – The University of Jamestown (N.D.) scored two early goals en route to a 4-1 win over Carroll College in a neutral site match in Denver.
Jamestown scored goals in the fourth and ninth minute to jump out to the 2-0 early lead.
The Carroll defense found its footing for the rest of the first half and went into the break without allowing another goal.
The Saints cut the lead to 2-1 in the 50th minute when Arturo Valle scored a header on a cross from Isaac Bostrom.
Jamestown went on the attack in the final minutes and scored goals in the 78th minute and 88th minute to finish the game 4-1.
Jamestown outshot the Saints 20-7.
The Saints return to the pitch tomorrow against Johnson and Wales (Colo.) at 2:30 p.m.
