Offensive Player of the Week: Isaiah Crane, Carroll (Mont. )
Crane, a redshirt sophomore guard from Portland, was named the Offensive Player-of-the-Week.
He had one of the most impressive single-game performances in (RV) Carroll (Mont.) history last Saturday, matching a 55-year-old program record with 48 points in CC’s 109-101 win at Providence (Mont.). Crane was 18-of-20 from the floor in the win, 3-of-5 from the 3-point line, and 9-of-11 at the free-throw line.
He added 18 points on his 8-of-12 field goals, despite an 89-73 setback at MSU-Northern.
For the week, Crane averaged 33.0 points per game. He shot a blazing 81.3 percent from the field (26-of-32 field goals), 3-of-6 from the 3-point line and hit 11-of-13 from the free-throw line. He also averaged 2.0 assists and 1.5 offensive rebounds per game.
This is Crane’s sixth career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
