Javier Rodriguez joined the Carroll College Men's Soccer coaching staff following an outstanding career as a student-athlete with the Fighting Saints. Originally from Madrid, Spain, Rodriguez came to Carroll College in 2019 as an Honors Scholar and quickly established himself as a leader both on the field and in the classroom.
A talented defender known for his technical ability, soccer intelligence, and professionalism, Rodriguez was a key contributor during one of the most successful periods in program history. In 2023, he was awarded the prestigious St. Sebastian Award, the highest honor presented to a Carroll College student-athlete, recognizing excellence in athletics, academics, leadership, service, and character.
As the Analysis Coordinator and Assistant Coach, Rodriguez oversees match analysis, video breakdown, opponent scouting, and player performance evaluation while assisting with training sessions and player development. His attention to detail and understanding of the game provide the Fighting Saints with a competitive edge both on and off the field.
