A Spokane Valley, Washington native, Conor Smith first arrived in Helena as a student-athlete at Carroll College, where he competed in both soccer and football. A standout goalkeeper for the Saints, Smith served as a team captain and remains one of the top goalkeepers in program history, still holding the school record for penalty kick saves.

Following graduation from Carroll, Smith earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Idaho State University. He later completed a prestigious Sports Physical Therapy Residency through Howard Head Sports Medicine in Vail, Colorado, becoming a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist.

Smith returned to Helena in 2023 and joined Heuiser Physical Therapy. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as a physical therapist for the U.S. Ski Team and provides sideline medical coverage for Carroll College Athletics.

Having served on the Carroll Men's Soccer coaching staff on and off for the past seven years, Smith oversees goalkeeper development and strength and conditioning while helping student-athletes maximize performance and reduce injury risk.
