Assistant Coach - Cross Country and Track & Field Distance

Layne Davies (Oliver) began volunteer coaching at Carroll College in the fall of 2019.

From Three Forks, Davies graduated from Montana State in 2019 after five years of competing on the cross-country and track teams. Davies earned a Mechanical Engineering Technology degree and a minor in Engineering Management and now works for the Montana Department of Transportation as a Hydraulics Engineer.

During her time at MSU, Davies was a Bronze Medalist in the mile at the 2018 Big Sky Indoor Championships and in the Steeplechase at the 2019 Big Sky Outdoor Championships.
